Goal setting is a deliberate action –you are making a deliberate choice to pave the way to greater happiness and life satisfaction.
Goal setting is about making changes.

Goal achievement will be most successful when they come from an intrinsic motivation - the desire to do something for the sake of inner satisfaction.
Goals must be value based – what IS most important to you.
They must be YOUR goals, intrinsic. When our motivation comes from within (intrinsic), we are more likely to accomplish our goals and feel a sense of self expression, pleasure from its pursuit, and a greater sense of purpose. .

When you set goals they must be YOUR goals and must be VALUE BASED! That means in line with your values. (what’s important to you). This is key to achieving your goals.
